The site is more than a retail destination; it is an opportunity to help shape the future of Croydon, South East London and the wider region. Croydon is one of London's largest boroughs, with almost two million people living within easy reach of the town centre. The ambition is to create a destination that attracts residents, workers and visitors back into the heart of Croydon.

The masterplan will be a modern truly mixed-use town centre with local shops, cafes, community spaces and public spaces arranged around new homes. Centrale will remain as a modern mall experience, all connected by an upgraded North End.
