As someone who has lived in Croydon for many years, it’s been disappointing to see the decline, so I welcome plans that aim to bring life back into the town centre and make it somewhere people actually want to spend time again

Nice building frontage, greenery, sheltered areas, outdoor seatings areas for shops etc to encourage more pedestrian flow

The NextGen Panel was created to ensure that young people across Croydon can get involved and are fundamental to shaping the future of the town centre.

- Walked the site with the design team
- Reviewed consultation feedback and emerging proposals
- Shared their views on culture, safety, public space and accessibility
- Took part in the Develop Croydon Conference
- Met project consultants at the NexGen Careers Fair
